ELAINE STRITCH – August 7th:  The fabulous, barb-witted, inimitable Elaine Stritch brings her one-woman show, At Liberty, to the theatre in August and on Thursday 7th at 2pm she’ll be onstage chatting to Elaine Paige about her long, award winning theatre and TV career which has been alternately helped and hindered by her natural wit, humour and sharp observations.  A must.

MICHAEL FEINSTEIN – September 18th: Michael Feinstein, who earlier this year won over capacity audiences at the Shaw with his dynamic show and personal charm, jumps back onstage at the Shaw from September 17th-20th.  Last year Michael was a guest on Elaine Paige’s own BBC Radio 2 show, Elaine Paige on Sunday, and on Thursday September 18th, Michael will be Elaine’s guest when he joins her onstage at the Shaw at 2pm for Spotlight On Michael Feinstein…In Conversation With Elaine Paige. One of America’s top interpreters of the Great American Songbook and longtime Gershwin archivist, Michael has a host of stories to tell about his work with many of America’s top songwriting partnerships and one or two about working with the likes of Frank Sinatra, and Liza Minnelli.

CHARLES STROUSE– September 23rd

Charles Strouse is the composer of many Broadway musicals including Annie, Bye Bye Birdie, Golden Boy with Sammy Davis Jnr, Applause with Lauren Bacall and Rags. He is the composer of several film scores including  Bonnie & Clyde and The Night They Raided Minsky’s  and joins the Spotlight series to coincide with his 80th Birthday Celebrations and the publication of his new Memoir “Put On A Happy Face”.

BEN VEREEN – October 1st:  Broadway legend Ben Vereen makes a rare and eagerly anticipated return to the UK when he brings his Tribute To Sammy Davis Jr show to the Shaw on October 4th and 5th. The Tony Award winner (for Pippin) is one of America’s best loved and most accomplished stars of the stage and screen.  On Broadway he’s appeared in Wicked, Fosse, I’m Not Rappaport, Hair, Pippin, Jam and many other great musicals; he’s probably best known for his Emmy Award winning performance in the mini-series Roots and he headlined with Chita Rivera in Chicago, the first Broadway production to play Las Vegas.  He recently won the coveted Prism Award for his work on TV’s hit series Grey’s Anatomy.  On October 1st he will be the subject of Spotlight On… as he recounts stories from his long and distinguished career.
