Charlotte
rose to fame in childhood as a classical singer before branching
out into pop music in 2005; her debut pop album, Tissues
and Issues, spawned the No. 2 smash hit Crazy Chick,
and the Top 20 hits Call My Name, Even God Can't
Change the Past, and Moodswings. By 2007 she
had sold in excess of 10 million albums and in 2006 and 2007
she took another successful career path when she hosted her
own Channel 4 TV show, The Charlotte Church Show, winning
Best Newcomer in the TV Comedy Awards. Charlotte 's daughter
Ruby was born in September 2007 and her son, Dexter, in January
2009. Charlotte has performed live in the US , Italy and the
UK ; her new album, which will be her sixth studio album,
is scheduled for release later this year.
