'MISCHIEF' is the hugely entertaining dance theatre collaboration between Theatre-Rites - which produces world-class shows for young people - and the innovative choreographer Arthur Pita. The show toured to sellout venues during 2007 and this autumn audiences will get another chance to be entranced, entertained and enthralled by this magical, fun 65 minute show.
'MISCHIEF' is designed to appeal to the over-fives and adults who haven't entirely mislaid their inner child:
"The premise is child's play: eight young dancers interact and play with curved lengths of foam that are ingeniously used both as set and props. From the opening moments, when the curtain rises on what appears to be a sinister enchanted forest, to the end, when the audience get to play with the strips of foam, this is an entertaining and witty exploration of space and structures - including the human body - which is almost architectural in intent and execution." (Guardian)
"No matter your age, it should leave you feeling stimulated, rib-tickled, lighter than when you walked in and glad to be alive." *****(The Times)
