The winners of the Critics’ Circle National Dance Awards 2009 were presented in front of a VIP audience in the magnificent Paul Hamlyn Hall of the Royal Opera House on January 21st.  Celebrating the vigour and variety of Britain’s thriving dance culture, these are the only professional awards in the UK dedicated to dance and are presented by the Dance Section of the Critics’ Circle, which brings together more than 50 dance writers.
