Choreographer
Ben Wright's new company, bgroup,
performs his excellent,
intimate piece about around, inside an audience
circle of 50 chairs. Four
dancers - Keir Patrick, Delphine Gaborit, Theo Clinkard
and Anna Bjerre Larsen - enact a
sequence of events that chart the passing of one hour; they
explore social rituals and draw the audience so close to the
skin of the performance the experience becomes hypnotic and
completely absorbing.

With lighting design by Guy Hoare and a sound score by Alan Stones, about around is the second production from this new company following the critical acclaim of its first production, The Diminishing Present.
